LFW is kicking off today and thankfully I'm over the little panic I was having. I always promise myself I'll set aside some time to plan some outfits but naturally it never happens.

Sensible shoes aren't an option, they're a must. My strategy is to start out in a low block heel, progress to a Chelsea boot and end up in trainers!

LONDON FASHION WEEKEND - Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

Today's schedule (Friday) is looking great, with FELDER FELDER, Eudon Choi and PPQ to name but a few.

Saturday at London Fashion Week is looking exciting, too, with the likes of Sibling, Emilia Wickstead, J.W. Anderson, House of Holland and Gareth Pugh.

Also on Saturday, rock royalty Georgia May Jagger is hosting a punk avant-garde afternoon tea in conjunction with Sunglass Hut.  The mind boggles but I can't wait to see.

Then on Sunday I am looking forward to Preen by Thornton Bregazzi (a personal favourite) followed by Topshop Unique, which will be a celeb fest, and then Mary Kattrantzou at 6.

My eyes will be fixed firmly on the FROW, of course, to report who's in town. But don't worry-  I'll make sure I see what's hot the on the runway too....

LONDON FASHION WEEK - THE BIG DEBATE

The debate that's already raging, of course, is the model weight issue.

Victoria Beckham has already been accused of using models that were too skinny in New York.  And of course plus size model Ashley Graham wowed when she took to the runway with a host of other plus size models to show her new lingerie collection for curvy girls.  Exciting times.

With Paris having already made a ruling banning skinny models who don't have a healthy BMI all eyes are on London to see what will happen here.

LONDON FASHION WEEK - Monday, Tuesday.

Monday looks set to be mega day with Roksanda, Erdem, Burberry, Christopher Pilotto, Osman and Giles all showing.

Expect a formidable turnout.

Anyone who's anyone in the fashion industry will be out in full fashionable force.

These big hitting trailblazers always deliver and are definitely the taste makers who will decide what we'll all be wearing next summer.  These are the shows that draw all the international buyers in their droves.

And not forgetting the very exciting Belstaff event on Monday night - I am hoping for a David Beckham sighting - he's the current face of the brand - surely it would be rude for him NOT to turn up?

For the grand finale on Tuesday I am really excited about the Anya Hindmarch show. She really is a genius and comes up with such original, off the wall concepts.

I really don't know how she does it.

Tuesday, as always, promises to be way more than a fashion show and you never quite know what you are going to get....Her AW13 Cascade show where she used 50,000 perfectly poised dominos to amazing effect....watch this space!

You can currently visit her Pop Up Service Station in Selfridges' car park where you can buy her AW/15 car-themed collection. You can even get your hands on a personalised hi-vis jacket, get your picture taken in a car wash with some gorgeous hunks and buy lots of fun journey-related gifts.

Oh and there's a Little Chef.......just in case your pekish.
