How to Transform Summer Wear into Autumn Outfits

September is a typical transitional month of sunny and rainy days interchanging. It’s the month when we still keep our summer clothes in the wardrobe but also start to add autumn clothing. To say the least, it’s difficult to find something suitable to wear! To help you with inspiration on how you can transform summer wear into autumn outfits, we asked four of our favourite fashion bloggers for their best tips.
Aztec Print Dress
Holly from Rock on Holly says transitional dressing is tricky but the easiest way to make it work is with a dress bare legs and boots.
“This colourful Aztec Print Dress is perfect for a bright, clear day. I love the colourful print and this boho/hippy styling is already huge for autumn. If there is a bit of a chill in the air, you can just throw on a chunky knit! I always go for a size bigger just to get a real snuggly feel!”
Sixties Mini Dress
Erica from Being Erica sometimes finds dressing for holiday a bit tricky – especially when she leaves a cold England to arrive in a warm country the same day!

Tile Print Skater Dress
Claire from Claire Justine fell in love with the tile print on our Skater Dress which she styled separately for summer and autumn days.
“For summer: Perfect with no tights and strappy sandals or shoes to match your lipstick! For autumn: styling it up a little warmer, with a long sleeved t-shirt on top or maybe underneath with nice and snug tights to match.”
Naomi from Bewitchery says autumn has always been her favourite time of year, as she likes layering up summer dresses to keep her warm on colder days so she also picked our print Skater Dress.
“Having such a bold print, it didn’t take much effort to transition this gorgeous dress into an autumn/winter look. I added some super soft tights, my trusty leather jacket and topped off the outfit with a pair of chunky heeled boots, which are rain-resistant – very important at this time of year!”
