The Seventies Folk Trend: Amber’s Edit

Posted on Friday 19th August 2016

I think the folklore trend is one look that everyone can pull off, whether you are heading on your summer holidays or planning your AW16 wardrobe.

Timeless and classic garments mean you can wear this trend regardless of your age, budget or body shape. It's the perfect relaxed look for anyone that puts comfort above all else but still likes to look effortless and stylish.

The trick is not to get carried away with this trend. There's only so much suede, fringing, paisley print and frayed denim a person can wear. So remember, there's a very fine line between looking fashionable...or like a fortune teller!

To give you some inspiration, here are my top 3 folklore outfits from bonprix. If you’re not quite ready to take on this trend head to toe, why not try a folklore tunic with your denim basics or by adding statement folk accessories.
